My client is a commercial cleaning company supporting businesses with state-of-the-art, white-glove janitorial services.
In their annual planning session last week, the leadership team wrestled with the issue of complexity in processes and procedures. As the discussion evolved, it became clear that the team was deep into the weeds and making things much more complicated than they had to be.
Finally, the CEO stepped in with a profound statement… “This is not cutting-edge Elon Musk $hit, we’re janitors.”
In the end, the session was super productive, and they have a great plan for 2025.
