One of the most rewarding parts of my work is when client relationships evolve into genuine, lasting friendships.
A couple of weekends ago was a perfect example. Samantha Upkes and I wanted to plan a couple’s trip, with us traveling from Portland and our clients coming from Toronto, and decided to meet in the middle in Minneapolis, Samantha’s hometown. It was such a joy to show them around, share experiences, and make memories together outside of the business setting.
These moments serve as a reminder that business is about so much more than transactions; it’s about building trust, fostering connection, and cultivating lifelong relationships.
