When was the last time you stepped out from behind the screen to invest in yourself and your future?

By October 10, 2025Uncategorized

Just wrapped up four incredible days in the vibrant city of Chicago, and I’m walking away inspired and exhilarated.

I kicked off the week with some personal time exploring this fantastic city, strolling along the shores of Lake Michigan, wandering through Millennium Park, and soaking in the awe-inspiring skyline (and yes, the restaurant scene too!). Chicago’s energy is contagious; people there are truly living life to the fullest.

Then, I had the privilege of spending a full day with my fellow Metronomics coaches, learning directly from Founder Shannon Byrne Susko. It’s always a gift to be in a room with some of the world’s best minds and business coaches, sharing wins, challenges, and best practices that help us all sharpen our craft.

Midweek, I was joined by my client, Ty Hookway, and Haris Arshad from CleanCraft LLC, for the Jim Collins “Good to Great” Immersion Workshop at the beautiful Navy Pier. Seeing Jim live is always a treat. His life’s work continues to inspire many, including myself, and this annual event never fails to deliver profound insights and renewed motivation.

To round out the week, I participated in the Metronomics Greatness in Motion Strategic Growth System Workshop, where my clients and I explored cutting-edge methods for implementing the Metronomics Strategic Execution System in high-growth companies.

Even after 21 years of coaching, I still find myself learning a lot at these events. Growth never stops, and neither should our commitment to it.
I’ve recommitted to attending at least one business learning event every quarter, because investing in myself means I can show up even stronger for my clients.

When was the last time you stepped out from behind the screen to invest in yourself and your future?

Do it! You’ll return inspired, invigorated, and more valuable to the people you serve.
